I wanted to write a song based around the concept of synesthesia and how it applies to hearing music in everything whether that is flavor, emotion, color, etc. After 3 re-writes, including a change in time signature, it finally came together just before I was set to go into the studio with 6 songs to record at Rooftop Recording. I ran it by the fellas on a whim and we decided to record it and add it as the 7th song on the album! It was pure magic!

Like the way New Orleans sounds, with brass bands and Zydeco
